The Car Before The Start

Well the first 200 miles have gone very well and actually seemed easy. This may be because of all of the training we've done, but in reality it's probably because we're in a car with the bikes on the roof :-)

The plan for the day is to drive down to Land's End, jump out, avoid the Dr Who exhibittion (don't ask me why Land's End = Dr Who), get THE photo and then cyc;le to St Ives. Although only 20 miles, the route is along the coast (which we were told to avoid) and is descibed as "scenic". The reason for today's short ride is so that we can start tomorrow's ride without worrying about getting through Land's End Tourist Land.

Anyway, I had better concentrate on the road. I don't think blogging and driving is illegal, but it's not easy.
